What does the app do?
Pewter is a simple service app. If you have a broken phone, screen or computing device and you want to book a repair, you can raise a ticket that will appear in a global market for any local engineers to pick up. Engineers will contact you and can book an appointment with you and share a quotation to speed up the process of phone repair.
I repair mobile phones. What do I need to do?
Simply sign up as an Engineer in the app – you will have access to any Jobs raised in the global market.
I’m a consumer and nobody has responded to my Job?
Pewter is in its infancy. Much like other apps that offer a similar service, they require people to actively service those consumers. Much like Uber, Airbnb, Just Eat, the app thrives from the service suppliers who populate it. Our goal is to continuously grow that service base and automate any processes until that base is sufficient.
Can I apply to be a part of the team or work as a contractor?
This is very much a very small team of professional contractors, so there’s no open positions, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on the online form, above.
