We’re back after the xmas break and the application now has tendering. When I designed it initially, I was focussed primarily on the existence of the app, prioritising the MVP more than any other component. Why? It’s not complicated: like many people in this world, I didn’t have thousands of pounds sitting in the bank to help me with development costs, so I had to build the most basic app I could afford. Even from a design point-of-view, I wanted the most minimum features I could muster, not only for speed, but for efficiency. There’s no point adding in features because you can think of them.
What we did want Pewter to be able to do though was offer tendering. Now you can choose which offer you prefer from which engineers and look up the details of that Engineer and ….save the engineers you like the look of, so you can review their credentials later.
Pewter is not forcing you to use the app because the philosophy on the design is that if it’s not easier for you to use, then why would you use it? We want to design an app that makes things simple and easy. Personally, I don’t like installing an app for everything. We want Pewter to earn its keep in your app list.
