It’s weird to blog again. It’s been a long time since I’ve last done it and I’m not very good with daily cadence, but it seems that the humble website is still not dead yet. I started with a WP site around 2013 called https://ohmnohmnohm.com/ dedicated to micromusic and minimalist art.
The reason for this sites creation was necessity, but also I’ve been working on an app that at it’s core, relies you to be able to use it if your phone is broken, so there has to be a web version of that available. Although everyone and their family has a phone or screen in modern times, I also wanted those who were isolated, or simply only had one phone could walk to the local library and log a repair request. It’s also a fact that a mobile phone is a lifeline for many homeless people, so they had to be able to have the ability to empower themselves if they were also to be part of the demographic.
With that said, my intention of this blog is to create a sort-of guide on what features are coming, being worked on and prioritised as a way of giving the application a human voice behind it. I think that’s what I try to be most of the time anyway. A human voice.
